Get Your Color On! Jumpstart Spring by Decorating with Green
Accessories are the easiest way to add/change color in a room—and can be the cheapest method also. These items in various hues of green are small ways to add this color to your room, but still pack a punch.

Another way to add green as an accent is with houseplants. Not only do they provide pops of color, they help clean the air and bring a natural energy to the room.
You don’t even have to use real plants to enjoy their visual perks. Check out my artificial cacti arrangements:
Bulbs are great to decorate with right now, because soon they will they start appearing outdoors. Growing bulbs indoors allows you to enjoy them now without waiting. Check out this mantle vignette that Rita from Design Megillah decorated. So vibrant and fresh!
If you want to commit to more green but are still hesitant on making such a big splash with it, you can decorate with green furniture or make over furniture with it.
I love this ombre dresser that Beth from Make Me Pretty Again created, because you get to enjoy more than one shade of green.
I dig the apple green that Myra from My Blessed Life used to make over this vintage dresser. Painting vintage furniture in a modern color is a sure-fire way to breath new energy into an old piece.
This kelly green campaign dresser that Emily from Emily A. Clark painted ties in so nicely with the black and white. It’s a classic color combination.
If you’re the go hard or go home type, painting your room green may be your cup of tea. This can be achieved by the traditional method of painting the walls…
… the current trend of painting your ceiling…
… or even painting your floor.
Are you also yearning for spring? Do you incorporate the seasons into your decor or feel inspired when the seasons change? How do you like to decorate with green?

Wow, I never would have thought to do green floors! I love all the pretty live plants, mine just don’t stay alive sadly. I also love the free standing bathtub, that is super cool! Thanks for sharing all this inspiration on Snickerdoodle sunday.
