It’s not you; it’s me.
Every so often it seems us bloggers need to take a break. Maybe life has gotten too hectic, maybe we’re in a creative rut, maybe we just have funner things to do. And that’s OK.
For me, I’ve got a lot on my plate. But just for the moment, say, the next month or so. If you haven’t heard yet (and how haven’t you, since I’ve been telling anyone/anything with ears), I’m moving soon–2 more weeks!
Since I’ve been slowly losing my sanity to the thin walls of my apartment, I decided to haul ass at some overtime and move a month before my lease ends. That also gives me more freedom to slowly clean up the old apartment, paint the bedroom back to the builders beige, and mourn the dishwasher I will no longer have.
It’s very exciting and I’m already planning how to decorate the new crib. I even created a Pinterest board for the new lemony bathroom I will have. (Hey, this decor fiend has to prepare. Yellow was never part of my home’s palette.) Plus, I’m tossing around the idea of painting my vintage tanker desk a rich kelly green/emerald.
So yeah, I’ll be MIA for a little bit around here. But I do have a few posts lined up, so you won’t have to suffer entirely. And don’t worry—I won’t stray, even if we are on break.
